Waters shares a fascination with lives spent in or on the water and will see Rose embroider scenes, animals and figures that are found in bodies of water.
Rose’s affinity was cultivated through a lifetime spent by the sea, her childhood adventures camping near rivers and streams, as well as on her grandparent’s houseboat.
Rose Miller is a visual artist. Working predominantly in freehand machine embroidery, her work draws strongly on natural and organic forms. Originally from Brighton, she now lives in Manchester and currently works freelance in prop making, puppetry, carnival and community arts.
Come down from 7pm as there’ll be a small amount of complimentary drinks provided by New Amsterdam and a soundtrack supplied by Generic Greeting DJs.
